Join the Agora IT Community – Update to Odoo V18

We invite technical members from all university alliances to the next session of the Agora IT Community. This is a dedicated space to share IT insights, discuss new service requirements, and collaborate on improving the Agora platform.

Session Focus: Update to V18 and more

This session will focus on the update of the agoras to Odoo V18 from the previous Odoo V16, and more news:

1. Odoo migration from v16 to v18 

This has been the biggest change to Agora over the summer. Keeping Odoo up to date allows us to benefit from its latest features, improvements, and security updates.

Among the many changes introduced, we would like to highlight the following:

1.1. User interface improvements

A major UI redesign was introduced with Odoo 17, including better search and filtering, improved dialogs, an enhanced mobile experience, and more readable URLs.

1.2. Website Builder improvements

The Website Builder has received a significant upgrade, with many more snippets, themes, and customization options.

In the Website Editor, click on a category to explore the available options:

1.3. New Agora Wallet Login

You can now authenticate using a QR code and the Agora Wallet application available on iOS and Android.

1.4. Acceleration Services Catalogues

We have improved the configuration of menu items and access groups to give you greater autonomy when creating and managing new catalogues.

1.5. Event Catalogue synchronization

The Event Catalogue is now synchronized with the Odoo Events module, making event management more integrated and consistent across Agora.
